Alkepay is a Toronto based, FINTRAC registered Money Services Business. We help Canadian companies pay suppliers, contractors, and partners across Africa with same business day settlement, transparent FX, and a compliance program built for scale.
Why Alkepay exists
Canadian businesses doing real work with African counterparties have been served by tools designed for consumer remittance or by correspondent banking arrangements that bury fees in FX margins and lose visibility on settlement. Neither serves a finance team that needs predictable cost, predictable speed, and clean reconciliation.
Alkepay is built around one focused use case: B2B payments between Canada and Africa, done well.
What we do
We hold a Canadian Money Services Business registration with FINTRAC under registration number C10001750. We deal in foreign exchange. We transmit money internationally. We onboard businesses under a documented KYB and KYC program. We monitor every transaction against AML and sanctions lists. We move CAD into local African currencies through direct connections to local payout rails.
What we do not do
We are not a bank. We do not hold customer deposits beyond what is required to execute pending transactions. We do not serve consumer remittance. We do not hold, custody, or transact in stablecoins or other digital assets; Alkepay operates an entirely fiat-based model. We do not process transactions to or from sanctioned jurisdictions or parties.

Alkepay Inc. is incorporated in Ontario, Canada with corporate registration number 1001176840. We operate from offices at Bay Adelaide Centre in downtown Toronto and serve customers across Canada.
Regulatory positioning
